Disc Dogs in Southern California are proud to present a Classic Qualifier for the Hyperflite Skyhoundz World Canine Disc Championship

Schedule:

Competitor check-in opens at 7:30am The competitor's meeting starts at 8:45am and the competition starts shortly thereafter.


The divisions/classes for the Classic Qualifier will be as follows:

Open / $15 per dog - 2 rounds of Freestyle and 1 round of Distance/Accuracy.
Sport / $10 per dog - 2 rounds of Distance/Accuracy.
Pairs Freestyle / $15 per dog - 1 round of freestyle. Pairs requires two handlers and one dog.
Open MicroDog / $15 per dog - 2 rounds of Freestyle and 1 round of Distance/Accuracy.
Sport MicroDog / $10 per dog - 2 rounds of Distance/Accuracy.
Open Youth / $15 per dog - 2 rounds of Freestyle and 1 round of Distance/Accuracy.
Sport Youth (non-qualifying) / $10 per dog - 2 rounds of Distance/Accuracy.
Recreational Freestyle (non-qualifying) / $15 per dog - 1 round of Freestyle and 1 round of Distance/Accuracy.
Recreational Distance/Accuracy (non-qualifying) / $10 per dog - 2 rounds of Distance/Accuracy.

Youth Division competitors must be 15 years of age or younger as of December 31st of the year in which they are competing in the Youth Division.

At Skyhoundz events, Hyperflite discs are required for all divisions. If you sign up for Recreational, you cannot sign up for any other level. MicroDogs must be fewer than 17 inches tall as measured from the ground to the withers as determined by Skyhoundz officials. Youth Division competitors must be 15 years of age or younger as of December 31st of the year in which they are competing in the Youth Division.

If you sign up for Sport/Rec D/A in addition to Open (including MicroDog & Youth) or Recreational Freestyle, your first round of D/A will be combined for both divisions.

Registration:

Registration is now OPEN and closes on 6/11/25 at 12:00pm noon.

In an effort to ensure a timely and organized event, online registration is now REQUIRED. This means ALL participants must register in advance using the form below. You will not be able to add or change your registration after the registration closes. Pre-payment is encouraged but not required. You can still pay for your entries on the day of the event during registration check-in. If you have questions about which division(s) to register for, please ask prior to the registration closing.
